Living in a constant chilly weather of New England has increased my awareness upon my family’s health condition, especially during fall, winter, and spring time; and even though many drug stores offering a free flu shots treatment, I would rather prefer a more traditional practice to fight a flu symptom: a glass of warm lemon water in the morning and at night.
How to make the warm lemon water? Well, that’s easy…
- Cut a lemon into small slices and put around 2-4 slices into a medium glass .
- Boil some water in a kettle, then pour it into the glass until half full – the other half will be filled with cold water.
- You can add 1-2 teaspoon of honey to taste.
Consume twice a day, one after you awake and before you go to sleep, and your flu will be gone away…
