Anything Pork

Pork. I am not saying that I don’t like eating it, but let’s say I prefer other meats compares to this one. But one fine night, one of my friend came to our house and present me with…ta-da!!! 1 lb. pork tenderloin.

So this is what I did with it.

Serve: 5 – 7 people.

First menu: Broccoli n’ pork stir fry

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 part of the 1 lb. pork tenderloin, cut into small cube.
  • 1 lb. broccoli florets.
  • 3 pcs. of carrot, sliced.
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
  • 1 cm. of ginger, minced.
  • 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Steps:

  • Bring 7 cups of water into boil.
  • Put in the chopped pork for about 15 minutes. Take it out and take 2-3 cups of its broth.
  • Put in the sliced carrot for about 5 minutes. Take it out.
  • Put in the broccoli for about 2 minutes. Take it out, and put in a large bowl of cold water.
  • In a large frying pan: saute the minced garlic and ginger.
  • Put in the pork and oyster sauce. Saute it for about 2 minutes.
  • Put in the carrot and broccoli. Saute them for about 3 minutes.
  • Pour in the pork broth and bring to boil for about 2 minutes.
  • Add salt and pepper.

Second menu: Pork in sweet soy sauce

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 part of the 1 lb. pork tenderloin, thinly sliced it.
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced.
  • 1 cm. of ginger, minced.
  • 2 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
  • 3 tablespoon of sweet soy sauce.
  • 1 teaspoon of Chinese five-spices powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste.

Steps:

  • In a large frying pan: saute the minced garlic and ginger.
  • Put in the pork. Saute it for about 3 – 5 minutes.
  • Add the oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour in the pork broth and bring to boil for about 5 minutes.
